On the sidelines of the World Government Summit, his Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and his Excellency Dr. Ashraf Al Shehhi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, signed the executive program in higher education and scientific research between the Government of the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt for the years 2016-2018, which included many items pursuant to the cooperation agreement between the two countries, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations in this area, in particular the mutual recognition of higher education institutions and certificates issued from them, as well as in scientific research and student exchanges at the level of University studies and higher education, in addition to student exchanges and activities.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan hailed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries, stresssing that this program came to emphasize the distinctive relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the field of higher education and scientific research.
