His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, congratulated scholarships students on the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers of the scholarship regulations and stydt aid, on the basis of a memorandum of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to increase the monthly financial allocations for students, according to a special study that has been prepared in order to obtain scientifically accurate living standards in scholarship countries, calling on Emirati students to invest the support they receive from the wise leadership, by diligence in seeking knowledge, and to be a good example and UAE ambassadors abroad.
\nThe Minister stressed that the introduction of the regulations came in line with the Ministry’s strategy, which emphasizes support for outstanding students, and choosing the best universities in the world, according to the disciplines needed by the labor market, and to achieve the general strategy of the State which has made education a top priority.
\nHis Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan pointed out that the regulations for scholarships and study aid took into account what outstanding students needed, and gave attention to allocations of part time students, students with special needs, as well as internal scholarships, plus other financial allocations and allowances for students.
