This came after talks by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and “Enrique Pena Nieto”, President of the United Mexican States, regarding a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, and ways to enhance cooperation for the benefit of supporting sustainable development in various countries as well as building communication bridges among peoples across the world to reach justice, stability and peace concepts, in addition they exchanged talks on ways to promote trade, cultural and tourist horizons between the two countries, as well as methods to build constructive investment partnerships, especially in the oil and renewable energy sectors, in the best interests of the two friendly peoples and countries, a Memoranda of Understanding on tourism cooperation, and a memorandum to promote cultural exchanges between the two sides, and a memorandum of cooperation between the two countries’ energy ministries in the oil and gas sectors, and an agreement on the protection and promotion of investments, a memorandum of understanding on strengthening cooperation in the field of clean energy and energy issues related to climate change.
Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, signed a memorandum of understanding, and Masdar Institute and the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico, signed a MoU to establish a joint Post Graduate program, the Dubai Economic Council and the Mexican National Bank for Foreign Trade also signed a MoU on credit and banking institutions in Mexico. Mubadala Petroleum and Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) have signed an agreement to provide the basis for discussions between the two companies and their affiliates about potential opportunities and the exchange of expertise in various disciplines.

]]>0Administratorhttp://www.hamdanmubarak.com/en/?p=13212016-01-18T10:51:37Z2016-01-18T10:51:37ZHis Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research that 73.4% of high school graduates for the academic year (2014-2015) enrolled in government and private educational institutions in the State, totaling 12,894 male and female students, of whom 3618 are male citizens, and 9276 female citizens of a total of 17, 560 citizens eligible to enroll in higher education, while 4666 students did not enroll in higher education institutions.
His Excellency the Minister added in a quote to the “Emirates today” newspaper, that the number of students enrolled in government and private universities in the first semester (September 2014) reached 10,542 citizens, including, 1431male students and 9111 female students, pointing out that the second semester of last year saw a decline, due to male student joining the (national service), with a total of 2352 citizens, of which 2187 are male students and 165 female students.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan clarified that in the first semester of the current academic year, the number of male students has returned to its previous rate, after rejoining higher education institutions, but the number is still less because of the lack of data on student enrolment in the second semester, and joining the (national service), compared to previous years.
His Excellency pointed out that those eligible for entry into government and private universities reached 15,615 male and female students, during the first quarter of this year, while the universities received 9203 of them, with 8151in government universities and1052 in private universities.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated the support of his Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, to the cultural renaissance taking place in the State, and continued support for higher education and scientific research.
